Our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program provides outpatient psychiatric services to adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. This service will address the needs of this population including on-going education regarding psychiatric symptom management, enhancement of social supports, assistance in finding alternative housing, linkage to educational resources, assistance with obtaining employment, referrals to resources for physical health, and assistance with obtaining financial entitlements. Our agency offers a program that is community based and utilizes the concepts of recovery which includes hope, client self-determination, empowerment, focus on wellness, and developing a sense of purpose and value.
We also provide Outpatient behavioral health services which include psychiatric and bio-psychosocial assessment and individual, group, and family therapies, and psychological testing for eligible NC residents. These services are intended to determine the member's treatment needs, and to provide the necessary treatment. Services focus on reducing psychiatric and behavioral symptoms in order to improve the member’s functioning in familial, social, educational, or occupational life domains.
