Job Summary:
This person is responsible for providing residential supervision in family care and adult group homes, ensuring that programs are implemented properly to meet the individual goals of residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Approach all duties and responsibilities in a professional manner, i.e., dress
appropriately, be punctual and dependable, maintain a positive attitude, and follow
the established chain of command, etc.
Assist with coordinating all aspects of life in the residence.
Ensure that the residents complete daily personal care routines.
Review medical needs of residents; schedule appointments with medical providers.
Food preparation, ensuring that meals are properly prepared in accordance with
established standards.

Order food and other supplies as needed on a regular basis.
Monitor visitations.
Attend scheduled meetings (e.g. PCP, team meetings)
Implement behavior programs.
Responsible for assisting with administration of resident programs, which are planned and implemented to meet individual needs and goals of clients in the areas of
psychiatric therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and recreation/leisure.

Oversee overall cleanliness of facility and environment.
Adhere to the principles of the UFC/URS Training Curriculum.
Abide by, enforce and participate in the implementation and ongoing oversight of all UFC/URS safety standards and regulations.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma

Physical Requirements
Must be able to operate equipment (e.g.; hand trucks). Must be able to exert up
to seventy-five pounds of force occasionally and/or frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or
otherwise move objects. Physical demands are in excess of sedentary work; position requires walking, standing, reaching, fingering, stooping, etc. Will lift no more than forty pounds independently. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of up to one hundred and seventy-five pounds with assistance.

Computer Skills
Must have basic word processing (MS Word) and email usage skills. Excel skills very important.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Qualifications
Must possess a valid NC Driver's License; Must be certified to administer medication; CPR/First Aid Certification. Must complete 30 hours of agency required trainings. Must re-certify all trainings annually.
